My approach

Since August 2017, my life has been shaped by a deep commitment to personal growth. I often describe this period as my “second chance” – a moment where everything shifted, and I chose to rebuild my life with intention and clarity. Education had always felt like a missing piece, so I returned to study, eventually qualifying as a Counsellor in 2021

I went on to complete my Humanistic Counselling degree at the University of Chichester in 2023 and am now studying part-time Psychology MSc at The University of East London, continuing to deepen my understanding of people, behaviour and mental health. My practice is an integrative, pluralist approach firmly rooted in person centred ideology meaning I will always follow a client wherever they choose to go, weaving in a range of modalities (i.e CBT or otherwise) if and when appropriate.

Professionally, I also work as the LGBTQIA+ and Chemsex Lead for the UK’s largest drug and alcohol charity, based within a central London borough and have worked in mainstream drug & alcohol services since 2017. In this role, I support individuals, practitioners and services to navigate complex issues around identity, substance use and connection, areas that are often misunderstood or overlooked.

Through my own development, I came to understand something crucial: however lost we might feel, and however many bumps in the road we face, we all have the capacity to move forward with the right support around us. That belief now sits at the heart of my practice. The experiences that once felt like my darkest moments have become the light I use to support others who may be standing where I once stood.

I genuinely love helping people. Being the person who listens without judgement, who holds hope when someone can’t quite find their own, and who walks alongside them as they make meaningful changes – that’s what drives me. People often tell me my strength lies in my ability to empathise deeply while staying grounded, realistic and warm. My approach is human, steady and honest, with a clear focus on what my clients need to feel safe, understood and supported.
